Sundance Selects has acquired U . s . States rights toThe Loneliest Planet, written and directed byJulia Loktev. Gael Garcia Bernal, Hani Furstenberg and Bidzina Gujabidze star inside the story of acouple backpacking inside the Caucasus hills that finds the threat of violence intruding around the journey.Jay Van Hoy, Lars Knudsen, Marie Therese Guirgis and Helge Albers produced the project.
