John Davis Nabs Archetype

Chronicle producer developing robo shortProducer John Davis, who had been among the people who shepherded Josh Trank and Max Landis' box office hit Chronicle towards the giant screen, has focused on another filmmaker having a sci-fi flavoured video clip background who he thinks might dive right in. He's just acquired the privileges to Aaron Sims' Archetype, which you'll watch below.Archetype follows what goes on whenever a hulking war machine all of a sudden appears to malfunction within the area. It's introduced set for testing and questioning by Johnson (Robert Pleasure) about why it shut lower its fellow fight 'bots by having an EM pulse. Appears there can be a ghost within the machine, with RL7 obtaining a situation from the Johnny Fives. Or, given what we should learn later within the short, much more likely it's all regulated gone a little Robocop...Sim cards is not exactly a Hollywood newcomer: he runs a VFX and design company and it has led try to from Clash From The Leaders to Large Seafood and Rise From The Planet From The Apes. Younger crowd practical knowledge dealing with the Stan Winston Studio.For Davis, she has form getting the tales of rampaging robots towards the screen, getting created I, Robot for Fox in 2004. He'll work with Sim cards to obtain Archetype converted to a feature length story (possibly alongside the short's author, Zachary Parris), there is however little else in position yet.
